Getting the Education Village Groundbreaking Back on Track
We got a panicked call one Tuesday morning. The GC for the new CCISD Education Village annex had their porta potty delivery fall through at the last minute. Their crew of 30 framers and masons was standing around with nowhere to go, and the August heat was already climbing past 90F. The whole project schedule was about to get thrown off before the first slab was even poured.
I grabbed two of our crew, loaded three of our cleanest standard units right off the wash rack, and had them on-site at the landmark in under two hours. We placed them in a shaded spot near the temporary construction fence for some relief. The superintendent said his guys were back to work within 15 minutes of us pulling out, keeping that critical first phase on schedule.
You saved our timeline when no one else would even answer the phone.
